DRGR Computer-Based Workshops

Overview:
HUD is pleased to announce a series of ten (10) computer-based DRGR workshops throughout the nation. These workshops will provide NSP grantees with an opportunity to improve their understanding of DRGR concepts by walking them through the five DRGR modules and highlighting key actions such as developing action plans, reporting in the QPR, making prior-period corrections and getting the most out of the reports module. The workshop includes a combination of lecture and hands-on case study exercises, allowing participants to practice each task in the system. The workshop will also review common DRGR missteps and questions, and teach grantees how to tell their community’s NSP story. For more information on the workshop, please review the
detailed project description.

The workshops will take place between September and November 2011 at computer lab facilities that accommodate up to 29 participants. Guidance for Entering Direct Benefit Data
Under Release 7.0, DRGR allows grantees to track direct benefit activities like housing rehabilitation, new housing construction, and homeownership with more specific breakout categories for performance measures by single family/multifamily (SF/MF), rent/own, race, Hispanic status, and female head of households. Under Release 7.0, direct benefit activities like housing rehabilitation, new housing construction, and homeownership now provide breakout categories by single family/multifamily, rent/own, race, Hispanic status, and female head of households. Detailed information on entering in-quarter totals by income level and all cumulative data to date for these breakout categories is available below: Under Release 7.0, direct benefit activities like housing rehabilitation, new housing construction, and homeownership now provide breakout categories by single family/multifamily (SF/MF), rent/own, race, Hispanic status, and female head of households. Page 2 of Edit Activity in the Action Plan allows users to select which categories apply to an activity based on how HUD DRGR administrators have set up the activity type. Action Plans will provide fields for SF/MF and Rent/Own. Race, Hispanic/Latino status, and female head of household (FHH) are only entered on the QPR side.
