Training Description
Basically CDBG
focused on key program topics such as: national objectives, eligible activities, program administration, financial management, performance measurement, and the Disaster Recovery Grant Reporting (DRGR) system. The course included a combination of lecture and practical case-study exercises. In addition, the course provided answers to common CDBG questions and highlighted HUD interpretation of key Neighborhood Stabilization Program 2 policy issues.

Attended

NSP2 Grantees:
This training was appropriate for all NSP2 grantee staff especially those who were new to the CDBG program. The training focused on the CDBG regulations with particular emphasis on how they relate to NSP2.

Others:
While the trainings were geared towards NSP2 grantees HUD welcomed NSP1 and CDBG grantees who liked a refresher on the basics of the CDBG program or wanted to take advantage of the new information on DRGR and Federal Reporting.
