HUD Community Connections is the Information Center of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD's) Office of Community Planning and Development (CPD). The Center serves State and local agencies, nonprofit organizations, public interest groups, and others interested in housing, community, and economic development.

The Center serves as a clearinghouse providing users with program regulations; model programs, case studies, publications on a variety of housing, community, and economic development topics; funding information; training and conference announcements; and referrals to technical assistance providers. The Center also serves as a resource and information center for HUD’s American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) programs. In addition to basic program information, specialists can assist CPD and Public and Indian Housing (PIH) grantees with questions on ARRA reporting.

Community Connections, under the Mailing List Management contract, maintains a database of grantee and constituent contact information for HUD.  The information in the database is updated on a regular basis and used exclusively by HUD to notify grantees, entitlement communities, and other constituents of important events and information.
